| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | Thanks guys, I have decided that the table isn't wide enough for sliding doors so I'm going to fit two hinged ones and have a single shallow drawer as Bj suggested and eventually may even have an interior light operated by a micro switch on each door. I also envisage a rear panel to take a 4" dust collector and tubes as suggested for the chisels. What are you guys getting me into, it started out as "four legs and a top"! Just when it will be ready depends on how quickly I get the gardening done (don't forget that's it's summer down-under), how long the Christmas shopping takes and last but not least, how many interruptions I get from certain moderators who shall remain nameless, but have figured out that when I don't have Skype open, my wife does and gets asked to call me!

| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | An eagle-eyed member who didn't want to risk embarrassing me, sent me a PM asking the reason that in my photo-shoot the guides were set very high on the band saw. Well, just as I try to politely point out what I think could be problems with other members posts, I too can take polite constructive criticism, this being so I admitted that I simply forgot to adjust it, probably because I've only had the bandsaw around a year compared to well over 50 years in woodworking.

| Forum Moderator Supreme Forum King | Well Harry I thought you have the same problem I have when I'm cutting pen blanks at an 1" or 3/4" I have to raise my guide to accomidate the fence. So I didn't see a problem with the way you were using it. OH by the way wheres the pens? ![]()

| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | OH by the way where's the pens? A minimum of a week away Glenmore, I have a lot on at the moment, including finishing the table. The drawer is made and the side panels are in place, there's still the back panel, fitting the drawer slides and the doors to go. Today it's been grooming the lawns, tomorrow, who knows?
