| Registered User | Hello I'm new, been lurking. Thanks for all the working knowledge you have posted. I wouldn't be attempting my current project without the info these members have already contributed. I'm making a set of folding TV trays. Table top is Popular with a 3/16 inlay of Red Oak. I have color stained the Red Oak inlay with a dark red pigment-based stain. Now my question. The surrounding popular I want stained a contrasting off-white color where the grain shows through slightly but the over all surface is glossy off-white. Mostly solid color with some grain peeking through. Can some one walk me through the process or point me in good direction? |
