| Registered User Jr. Member | Hey guys, I am going to try and repair a hatchway door for a friend of mines sailboat. It is a panel type door, with mortise and tenon for the rails and stiles, with a plywood panel. I can't take the frame apart as that would destroy it. I thought about cutting out the panel and routing a rabbit to set the new panel in, and use some sort of trim to cover the repair. What I need to know is should I glue the panel in place? Not a whole lot of options in attaching the panel as I can see. thought someone might have had a similar type of problem. Thanks in advance! John |

| Marine Engineer Forum King | With a plywood panel it shouldn't be a problem gluing it.
