| Forum Moderator Supreme Forum King | John sorry didn't have an answer for you trying the same thing. I was recomended the 3/4" blade for my grizzly just a plain beast. Was told that a 1/2" blade was sufficent and found that it is has some more give then the stiffened 3/4" blade.

Not a problem, I got my direction from the members and now for me to test and see what works on my saw. I think this proves we are ok individually but "GREAT when we put our heads together. | Registered User Forum King | I thought I would bring this thread back and show the finished piece of aluminum my son and I finished for our project. The start size was 48"x4". We needed a finish product of 22"x31/4". We had no problem using a 3/8"x6 tpi blade. It had to be taken slow and easy but did accomplish it. The only problem I found was trying to rip the 22", it did want to wander a bit. This did cause some extra filing at the end. Would I do it again, NO, the clean up of the saw and surrounding area did not make it worth while. The next time I will have it cut for me. Thanks for all the advice, it did keep us safe and get the job done. Thanks John Wrong thread but is here now ![]() http://www.routerforums.com/attachme...hmentid=&stc=1
