I have acquired a old grinder. The plug, wire and switch was missing. I have replaced all but can not remember how to wire it. It has a start capacitor but the wires were missing from it as well. Can any one please post a wiring diagram showing the green, white and black wires and where they go?

Thanks

Hi George

This is one of the times a picture(s) is worth 1000 words

and with some luck some one can make heads or talis of the wiring setup.

Hi George

I know this is a long shot but sometimes they put a small wiring diagram on the back side of the metal cover for the wires...

one more long shot below

Hi George,

The green is the neutral wire. As for the black and white, it won't matter to which side they go.

Thanks, The start Cap has one terminal..The green is grounded to the chassis. The white will go into the motor. Now I have one black wire from the plug..One black wire into the motor..The cap is just sitting there asking for a wire..I have a black one that I think can go to the cap and then to the motor....I will try this tomorrow..turn the grinder on..plug it into one humgus extension cord..stand across the shop and plug the sucker in.....I love adventure...Thanks again B and Hamlin...This forum is great and a lot of fun..
