Hi SB

I don't see why not, it would be just a bit trickey to keep the brass guide down in place ( inside the jig fixture) just need to screw down the router motor down to 7/16" deep, it also best to use a vac pickup as well..it will pull out alot of chips..
I think if you made a stop block for your router ,so it stops right at 7/16" DEEP...the norm for most of that type of hinges...it will work out just fine..
just get your duck tape out and tape your stop block right on the router base..

I see your point. Sommerfeld has a nice one but that is spendy.

Have you seen Sommerfeld's DVD on making cabinets with a tongue and groove bit. It is a pretty nice system I thought. Do you have that system?

180 bucks is 2 tanks of gas.

HI SB

Yes I do have that system and all his videos and almost all his bit sets plus the templates plus many extra items..

I's funny you are talking about the tongue and groove bit set from sommerfeld,,, I just got 4 bearings from sommerfeld tools to make a new copy cat set of his with a standard T & G set that I had from Grizzly, the spec.bearings that are real hard to find the norm.. it took me a year to find them,,,or to say get a handle on it...so I could do the same job for less...he also puts on the same bearnings on his panel bit sets...

SO to say it's real find for me..
