| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | You do surprise me Nick., I have several GMC power tools, which whilst noisy, work very well and are top value for money. Amongst these tools is an 18volt drill which close to the end of it's two year warranty both batteries failed to hold a full charge so I made a warranty claim to their web site and was instructed in an email to pack the batteries and they would be collected by courier. Indeed they were several days later and a brand new complete drill was handed to me. I now therefore have two drills with a battery for each. I have to mention Nick. that if your projects are as prolific as your posts, we are in for some real treats!

| Registered User Forum Fanatic | I purchased the GMC 3-base router kit from Amazon, and it was the best value I've ever gotten. I couldn't be happier with the performance, and quality. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with them. I guess eventually any and all manufacturers of any products will have a disappointed customer. Maybe, if you try their products again, you will have better experience. Neal |

| Senior Moderator Supreme Forum King | While variable speed is a very useful feature on a drill there is also a market for a simple inexpensive drill motor for home owner jobs. The least expensive corded drill at home centers in my area runs $50 so for $20 what did you really expect?
