I vote for my birthday. Like now, my birthday was on Thanksgiving. Every so often it falls this way. Irregardless, the whole family is there. That makes it special.

I'm with Dr. Zook, Birthdays are my favorites, I use to take the dayoff of work for each family members birthday. For my 28 years at that job I only missed a couple due to things that were not in my control. If I had to do it all over again this would be one of the things I do just like I did it.

I checked other because, among other reasons, I'm retired and several of them are special. We have 10 living near enough to celebrate Christmas, Thanksgiving, Independence Day, each birthday, Mother's and Father's day together, usually at our home, LOML's health permitting. Youngest daughter was married this past Saturday and we hosted the reception for around a hundred - we have almost 4 acres, about 3 not forested and cars were everywhere.

We really enjoy getting together.
