Do you support PBS stations with a donation or do you just tune in and don't give a thought to donating.

I was donating & requesting that they pick up The Router Workshop since they don't show it where I'm at. After about 6 months I finally gave up. I really don't watch TV, but I wouldn't mind paying to see the workshop. They told me there wasn't enough demand for it here in Arkansas????

I have the same problem here in Rochester NY, I contacted my local PBS station to ask to have the The Router Workshop started again. We were getting it up till about 1 year ago. Not always happy with the quality of the programing.

I read an article that was suggesting more and more people are becoming DIY'ers. There are some larger networks that seem to be picking up programs, targeting the DIY'ers.

The "how to woodworking shows" seem to be leaning towards repairs and maintaince to the family dwelling. It seems more and more people are interested in "how to maintain, or fix" the house verses building a table.
