This is a little game we use to play at work. Once a week or so people would bring some pocket sized tool/??? in and we would try and figure out what it was. I always enjoyed it and then when they started doing it on Ask This Old House I figure a lot of people must like this sort of game.

So for starters I have 4 things I picked out to test you with. How do people like this game? Any one else want to try posting some items???? We don't have to do it for points if pride is enough.....

This final tool is a personal favorite. I love this tool, I got one for each of my kids when they were quite young, they loved using it. I loaded this to a friend to use on cedar stops....... If you don't own one this is one I would say you should have.

This is a stretch on this one. Well here goes...

It is a nail driver, and can be used as a brad push or for finishing nails driven into cove molding or quarter round.

You guys are good! Yes it is a brad driver. The brad goes up into the barrel (some have a magnet to hold steel brads) then you simply push it in to the wood. It is a lot easier to do then you think and my kids like to use this rather then a hammer when they were younger. You don't hit your fingers trying to hold the brad, you don't damage your work if you miss with the hammer, you don't worry about breaking the glass....... and splitting the thin wood almost never happens. I could go on and on but you have things to do too....... but the next time you are "tacking" that pattern on and hit your finger remember this tool and get one!

I think they cost about $8 US and everyone should have one!!!!!! Really!!!!
