Default "What is it?" #10

How about you telling us what this item is..... I want details, how is it used, what is it for, a name only will not win.......

All objects are sitting on a 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper so that is how big they are...... They are all tools and I use them for some woodworking related task.

The first correct answer with details wins

Ed,

Being a newbie like me is a tough nut to crack at times like this.

All of these items look like they came from a mid-evil torture chamber rather than a woodworking shop

A great idea and fun to watch.

Keep going!

I appears to be a hand-held wood carver's vise.

You can adust the pin locations like bench dogs and and clamp strangely shaped objects.

Welcome to the winner circle! Yes it is a handheld vice, and yes it holds odd shapes. I guess this is more of a hobbies tool but I find it "handy" for small projects.
