The number 39 reminds me that I'm glad I stopped having birthdays at 38.....

The pictured tool is a real time save for me. This is something that is cheap enough that you should own one too.

Be the first one to tell us what this thing does and how it works and ...... what it might be good for...... Make sure you have the details if you want to win.

How does 100 points sound?????? OK then that is what it is.

Is a dandy magnet "picker-upper" for when you spill the can of nails/screws.
Of course if you spill the brass... too bad, its you the picker-upper.
Magnet picks up the spilled material, then when you set the whole deal over the proper place, you raise the handle and the magnet, and the "screen" separates the material picked up from and magnet, and presto... the spilled material is deposited where you like, absent the sawdust and other debris......... me, don't need one, never spill the brads.....<grin>

I think these are about $6 US and well worth having. In addition to helping me a few times each year when I manage to dump a box of screws or nails... it also works well to help find the ball bearing that dropped out as you were taking your what ever apart..... or when you just finished vaccuming up and notice that the little part that had been sitting on the bench is not there..... Open the vac and run the magnet around in the dust and sometimes you get lucky.

Now this may sound crazy but when I buy bulk screws/nails I put them in large coffee cans. When you reach in to grab them..... well I just take the magnet stick it in the can pull out a "mess" of them, pull up on the lever while over a cookie sheet and have a nice collection to use. At the end of the day you pour the unused ones back in the can for another day.

Well that is more then you most likly wanted to here so let me just say that you should own one of these.

OH yea the points are on the way....
