This one is very simple. Be the first one to give us some details on how this is use or what it is for, and do it right gets 100 points.

It's a square that you used to find and mark precise angles. Don't know the name off hand but I do know what its used for. Works great for siding and molding or any other odd angle.

I'm on the edge with this answer..... I'll put the winner on hold and give you a second go at the answer with a bit more detail...... but the hold is for only 24 hours........ Then it is open to anyone with the details and correct answer.

Sliding bevel for measuring and transferring angles.

Very useful (necessary) in boat construction as there are no right angles where the cabinetry meets the hull.

I see you revised the post.... yes these are a handy tool. And you did better on the second try so I'm sending some points your way.

To every one try and give more details in your posts for those who are new here and have no idea what this stuff is. Tell us how you use it, some project that you used it on..... DETAILS.

Ok now back to sending you some points and putting that winner thing I like to do..... { having a problem giving away points so it will be a little while before you see them}

I have done some repairs to old wooden boats that I got for free because everyone was moving to glass or AL...... but I have never had to do any fine construction but I sure can see how this tool might work for getting all the different angles to work out.

Thanks for the post.
