Take a look and tell me about this tool. I want some details! It could be that you have one or more of these???? Is this more then one tool? Let's make the answer a paragraph long or more please. For all that work I think the first two correct answers with good detailed information should each get 100 points.....

Make sure you read the above before you post if you want to win the points.

ejant will become famous soon enough

It is a scraper holder has a glass-filled nylon body, with all-brass fittings, is kind to a sharp hook. You can slip any thickness of scraper (6"/150mm long) into it, clamp it in position, and set the amount of bow with the screw-actuated center pad.

It ismolded to fit your hands comfortably. Easy on your hands as it reduces asch fingers. Even better, you can easily scrape toward yourself as well as away, letting you work to best advantage with the grain. You can set the scraper at any projection you want; the conical brass clamping plugs have a flat on one side for solid scraper support at any projection

You know more about this tool then I do! Yes it is what he said. I got this because I spent to many years on the computer or at least that is what I think. It helps hold the scraper and gives good control. I still can't work very long with it..... special projects only now. If you have not used a scraper get one and give it try..... holder is optional.
