I think the Triton is the router to beat, particularly in a school situation where its safety interlocks will help keep students from injuring themselves and bringing lawsuits for the injury. It is a very powerful router and handles large diameter bits quite well. A long bit can easily be used to joint on the router, a small plus. Given the high marks for built-in dust collection, and the fact it costs a fraction of any of the commercial lifts, it was a no brainer for me.
The more I do, the less I accomplish.
