Jack I suppose had many followers David Ford was one of them, and it was in 1998 that he made his presentation to the Routing Magazine. I should say a wonderful presentation that was the envy of all who may have thought they were getting the most from their router.

P.S. I certainly was impressed with his results and I did make an attempt at this one using the template guides. I must see if I still have the actual final project. I know I still have the jig and template tucked away in one of my sheds

Jack Cox should be admired for his contribution to routing over a number of years. He generated interest in me to Look outside the square when it comes to using the router. In May 1999 here is his simple method of inserting biscuits. I must confess that I was not 100% in favour of his presentation but it got me thinking and present my own method.

In Sept 2002 again jack was to the fore submitting his latest projects Tapered Tubs. He was a great mathematician where he worked out all the angles ready for Routing. I can honestly say that Jack was a great source of my inspiration getting me doing the things I have done over the years He woke me up to have a greater interest in what the router is capable of and I did not really copy what he was doing simply looking at alternative methods hence the use of the template guides

Jack was never short of reporting a fault in the construction of the Jig he had invented so that others would not make the same mistake

That's probably true.. certainly you'd be more likely to consider it your vehicle of choice on a sunny day!
