Jim have you spent some time in the far east? Some of it is spilling over in your wrighting. Be careful when you take the obvious and reverse it you have been bit by the far east.

Thanks for that link Levon, It's made the decision for me, without an Incra system I wouldn't think it's worth the trouble using alternative methods. I've always considered the Incra to be a great system but my eyesight isn't good enough to read the graduations.

The Incra jig system is on sale right now.
Incra Jig
Codes IJ5 for the jig positioner, -$5 or;
IJ10 for the jig and fence system combo -$10.

.
Never, under any circumstances, combine a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

John, absolutely no offence of any kind was taken, my answer was meant to convey what I thought was a good idea, presents.

I had never considered a FIXED magnifying glass Mike, it was the thought of keep picking up a hand hand one that put me off. Perhaps, depending on the results of a stress test that I'm having next Wednesday, I could well reconsider an Incra system. But then again, this is a router forum and it's been a while since I presented a routing project so perhaps that should come first.
