I recently inherited from my dad a Black and Decker 7614 Router, Type 1, 1.5 HP, 25,000 RPM, 9.0 amps. It runs exceptionally well and I am trying to locate a Straight and Circular Guide that fits. Any ideas on a Black and Decker or any other brand that might fit this router?

@Skip01

I have a B&D 7616 router - my first router years ago and I still have it. I looked at my guide and found a part number - I believe it will fit the 7614 as well. The part number is 76-230/52336 Type 2. The two rods that come with it I believe have a 1/4 - 20 thread.

I did a quick check on the web that led me to B&D Service net, but most of the parts of that guide are unavailable.

You may try searching ebay or Craig's list for someone in your area - or you could try to fashion your own.

Please take the time to update your profile, with an approximate location and your first name. It will enable other members of the forum to give you more specific information, knowing where you are located. We have members from all over the world.

Hope that helps.

Welcome to the forum Skip . Not sure how well it worked for straight cuts with its guide , as I tossed that part and installed it on my Makita router for the circle guide .
It's craftsman , but it fits several routers with its multi router base
