Default Help locating parts 7610

Anyone know where to find the collet for a B&D 7610 router? the one listed on ereplacementparts is not the same as what is on the router. See picture for one that is in the router now.
Also the key for the collar is worn down. I have a new key, but the old one is stuck. Either I find where to get Part 87664-00, its not available anywhere, or grind out the old key.

Jim, B&D routers are budget machines that are easy on the pocket book which makes them hard to justify putting repairs into them. If e replacement doesn't have the parts then the only other option is to find a dead one with the parts you need and at a reasonable cost. You may have to consider new. Keep in mind that B&D, Craftsman, and Ryobi routers are hard to find parts for when they are older. The better brands usually carry parts longer.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.
