Jim, B&D routers are budget machines that are easy on the pocket book which makes them hard to justify putting repairs into them. If e replacement doesn't have the parts then the only other option is to find a dead one with the parts you need and at a reasonable cost. You may have to consider new. Keep in mind that B&D, Craftsman, and Ryobi routers are hard to find parts for when they are older. The better brands usually carry parts longer.
