There's been a few times I wish I'd had one of these. Building out in the yard and cutting lumber in the parking lot so I can get it loaded is a couple of those times. So, rather than buy one, decided to make one. Made it out of 1/2" MDO painted white.
Fun project.

In case you're not sure what theses are here's a that explains what it is.

Thanks!
I didn't seal the edges. You might have thought it was MDF instead of MDO. I used MDO with painting signs for some 40 years and if it was going to be exposed to the elements 24/7 for years, I would have considered sealing them but MDO is pretty stout stuff and holds up really well (for plywood) with occasional exposure to the elements.

Not a tool that I would need every day, but it looks to be real handy in certain situations.
Lowes is selling the real one made from steel for only $20. At that price I doubt that I'll even try making one.

Yeah, doubt if I'll use it that often, so I know exactly what you mean. But I do like to make stuff and now I got $20 for router bits,

NOTE: If anyone is interested in the dxf for this contact me via PM and I'll email it or sumpthin'. Tried to post it in original post but that extension is not allowed.
EDIT: Well the PM thing isn't going to work either.
