Default jumbo 3 boards to digitize a 1968 Kayak Plan and build it

1968 popular mechanics wooden Kayak 15 foot , used the jumbo 3 boards and logitrace 2018
to digitize
the full sized plans and cut the parts
and do a partial assembly

That constructon is really interesting. I take it that fiberglass covers it all? It looks feather light for its size, Is this something that could be filled with foam to become insinkable?

The more I do, the less I accomplish.

I kept that issue of PM for several years in my early 20's thinking I would build the kayak someday. I now probably couldn't stand to kneel in it for more than ten minutes!

the plan calls for fiberglass , and you are right not sure if I could kneel in there for a long time , at my age
Weight...it actually called for 1/4 frames which would be light but flimsy but with the fiberglass that would strengthen it up
and keep the weight down
Not sure about the flat bottom, its flat flat
