Default deWalt/Elu (and other) compatibility

Many deWalt routers (except the DW626) started life as Elu routers and were renamed/renumbered and recoloured when Black & Decker took over. A list of known (European) equivalances is as follows:

deWalt = Elu

DW629 = MOF131
DW625 = MOF177
DW624 = MOF177
DW621 = OF97e
DW620 = OF97 (some early models were called OF1?)
DW615 = MOF96e
DW613 = MOF96

In many cases the collets, nuts and side fences are interchangeable between equivalent models, so a 1/2in collet/nut from a DW625/DW624 will fit a MOF177 or MOF177e. It will also fit earlier models including tne MOF98 and MOF77

Probably a typo. I think the DW625 = MOF177e, ie electronic speed controll.

PS: It might be a good idea if admins changed the title from "DeWalt" to "DeWalt and ELU" for those who do not know...

I can assist. Black & Decker model #s also crossover to many of these DeWalt model #s.

DW610 goes to B&D 2721 (9.0 amp motor)
DW624 also goes to B&D 3337
DW625 also goes to B&D 3338/3339

I think the T10 is much the same as the DeWalt 625, the T11 is a T10 with slightly modified base and a quick raiser. All made by Felisatti in Italy.

Welcome to the forum Paul. There was a seller on US ebay selling 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 collets for a while so that is one possible source. As another member above stated there is a B&D model that is the same. You could try ereplacement parts to see if they are still available there. I did a quick search and only found the 1/4" collet (Amazon) but mine came with both 1/2 and 1/4. It's a nice little router. I've had mine for years.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

An aftermarket (didn't know there was such a thing) Collet Dewalt DW 610 Router Type 1 Collet 1 2" I D | eBay
An OEM. Collet Dewalt DW 610 Router Type 1 Collet 1 4" I D | eBay
You probably don't want this one but I might.Collet Dewalt DW 610 Router Type 1 Collet 3 8" I D | eBay
