Default FT1700 Mounting Template

Here is the template for mounting the Freud FT1700 Router. Please note that when printing you need to uncheck the option to fit to page and verify the accuracy of the print by measuring the printed scales before using.

this file would not open in pdf or any format...is it somehow protected?
since I was unable to open this file I have requested the router table insert template from Freud. hopefully they'll send one to me

Sorry to hear of the difficulty you are having. Seems to open fine for me. Maybe try downloading to your computer (right click on the link and choose to "Save As") and then open.

Smile Freud 1700 mounting plate

No offense intended toward anyone but I found the pdf file extremely confusing. I think it was because it is looking from below the plate.
I took the liberty of redrawing it viewed from the top and all locations are referenced from the centerlines of the plate.
This laid it right in for me. Sorry, I haven't got the Adobe software and had to export it as an image file.

I was going to try mounting this router on a sears Craftsman router table, the professional series it's called. Of course none of the hole line up. I found the template in my package but I noticed it says for the "plunge base". Is it the same template if I want to mount the fixed base?

I use Firefox and it open beautifully in Foxit reader.
Must be a bood to those in dire need.
