Default Replacing 1617 Bosch on/off switch

I need to replace the switch on my 1617 (not EVS) Bosch router. My problem is the replacement switch shown at the E-Replacement Parts website has just one lead/terminal and my router has two leads with terminals. I don’t know which lead to connect the new switch to. Here’s what it says at the above site: "This is a Rocker type switch that has 2 terminals and 1 lead connected to the outermost terminal."

Welcome to the forum Kim. I'm not familiar with Mexico's power system. The US and Canada are 120 volt, 15 amp, single leg. Is yours the same?

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Nice to have you as a participant here. Welcome. I suggest you try the number Stick provided. Bosch has a wonderful reputation for customer service.
