Default Dovetail Joint for very open angles

What type of joints are normally used for very open angles, when connecting timber elements ?

What kind of joint could be used here instead of dovetail?

Hi Petras and welcome. I would probably go with a splined joint. Spline joints are easy to make.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Put me on the splined list as well. Very easy joint to make and quite strong with lots of glue surface. And splines work well with compound angles.
