Default Bosch Bosch POF 1200 AE Router

I am thinking of buying this router. (Please see the attachment to this message.) However, in one of the questions about this asked in (Amazon I think) the date of the question is November 2011 - 7 years ago.

This implies that the router is an old model and therefore not up to modern standards. Is that true?

it's listed as a current model...
it being a Bosch, it'd be a ''no worries'' purchase new..
N America has the 16 series...

This would have been the week that I'd have finished chewing thru the restraints...
If only new layers hadn't been added....

Hi Steve and welcome. It's good to fill out your profile so we know a bit a bout you. In this case where you are is important as my search for that model took me to Axminster's. North American power systems are different than yours so models sold where you are will not work here. However, Bosch is a very reliable brand here or there.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.
