Since there is so much discussion on these things in this forum, I thought maybe I should add one to my "collection". I picked it up on Kijiji for 75.00. Looks to be in very good shape and came with the manual, templates and a router book. This is going to be a tough one to hide from the spouse..LOL.
Oh I forgot to mention I got 300.00 worth of Retail Therapy over the saw. New Dremel MultiMax and all the accessories, New Drill Doctor 350X, new angle grinder accessories, new clamps, yep... so MUCH better then flowers and a card...ROFLOL!
Thanks guys! Actually the spouse came home from work and saw it and thought it might actually be of some interest. Well I guess that was better then the reaction I was expecting:nono:.
Better make sure the spouse RTFM! And I'll be sure to keep my safety glasses ON! :dirol:

Hey Deb,
It didn't come with an extra 1" pulley, by chance?
I'm in the middle of a total shop overhaul but, as soon as I get it finished, the RC is my first rehab (fixing that pulley) project. I look forward to talking with you and sharing project ideas and techniques. It does look like fun.

Peter yes I got everything in the picture including the original paper templates. Most of the book was written by Patrick Spielman and it includes and entire chapter on the Router Crafter.
That's a good idea. My Routercrafter is still in transit, but as far as I know is intact. People do seem to find a problem with the pulleys breaking. I emailed Trend this morning, albeit with some difficulty, as the address on their website bounces, so had to phone them for a usable email address before I could successfully send the enquiry.
I went out for an hour and got back to a message saying they were posting me some FOC !
Spares might not be a bad idea. I don't think you would have to replace aluminum ones too often.
