I have contacted Black and Decker without success about a replacement nut for my router. It's only 2 years old and has a crack in the nut. Of course I don't dare to use it and I do have other routers but I like it for small jobs. Does anyone know of a place to contact to get a replacement nut for that 1/4 in router? Thanks so much everyone. Mike
If You have had no help from the factory, you might try Home Depot for some help from the supplier. Also, check with a good tool and die shop, Take the nut along. You might be pleased with what they can get. You can continue to post for the nut, and may get a factory .
Hmmm, I have always had pretty good luck with Black and Decker Parts. The Firestorm line is fairly new also.
Do you have a model number?
Main problem I have had with Black and Decker parts is that they have so many products the line name generally gets you nowhere, you need the model number AND type number off the tag.
Good Luck.
