Hello,
I am new to this forum and new to woodworking. I am looking for some tips on routing dovetails. I have a jig for thru dovetails and I am trying to tune up the fit..... but I am wondering about bit speed and what material routs well that isn't too expensive as I am still learning. I am using a 21/4 Triton router and a keller dovetail bit & a carbide straight flush bit for the pins. I want to eventually use a contrast of wood (maybe maple and mahogany)... but for not I mostly need something easy to work with.
thanks very much!
