I can't think of a quicker way to wipe out some so so bits than trying to sharpen them,,you can send them but that will cost you more than just buying some new bits, the bigger bits like the panel bits, it's worth it but the smaller ones just replace them...many bits have the bearing on them and it must be true to the cutters and once they are resharpen they will not be the same profile as they where...
You can use a diamond hone stone to give the edge a little tweak but you must take great care...you can't put it back once it's gone..
