Hello to all from NW NJ,
I am new to this forum and am glad I found it. I am not new to wood working but new to the world of routing. So here's the big question. With a limited budget what do I spend my money on. I have Sears,HD and Lowe's in the area so I have looked at Bosch,Rigid and of course Craftsman. I have read the reviews and am still torn. Now I have found out the Craftsman Professional is on sale and within budget. It actually comes with three handles. Help!

Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim

I'm a big fan of the Pro.Craftsman,(red top ) it comes with all the bells and whistles,,and all the basses have a lift kit built in unlike the other brands you have listed..plus they all can use the brass guides right off the bat.. :) and the best part it's lower in price than the others...
I should note one of the routers you have listed has a big problem with the switch, the Craftsman has stuck with the reliable time tested bat type switch on the hvy.duty pro.model..
