:sad:Went out to the garage today to start working on some remodeling items in the house, spent some time setting up the tools, cut to width some wood, ran them through the planer and was ready to round over the edges on my router table, start it up and since it is a soft start model it started slow and never picked up the speed. After taking it out of the table and and trying different things nothing helped.
Does anyone have anything that may help or do I need to break down and go buy another one?
Do you want a new router? Maybe now is as good a time as any. I mean what can you do when something as important to fixing things around the house as your router?? :sarcastic::sarcastic: Maybe you could talk it over with your wife :big_boss: and get a new one and one day resurrect the old one if possible!!
No moisture in our area. The router is about a year and a half old but used very little. Going to sears to see if they can help me out and look for another one.
Hello and welcome! There are a few things that i wonder about; Can you tell me how old it is Did you use it recently Have you checked that circuit, The speed module could be broken, or does it act like it wants to change speed? Does the knob feel different when you turn in up, or down? Sorry for all the questions, but it may help us get an idea for whats happening. I hate to have you get it fixed, it it is older,it may be to expensive, and you will get a good deal just into shopping season. Wish you well, and would you please give us your location on your profile.
