Hi All,
I came upon this forum while researching an issue with a dewalt 621 router. I've been building custom cabinets for several years. I'm currently devising fixtures and set ups to more efficiently use routers for my most common joinery tasks. I'm looking forward to getting involved in the forum.

I aquired a DW621 some years back that till now has seen little use. I chose it for service in a motising fixture. To my surprise I discovered the course depth gauge to be improperly calibrated. A 3/4" movement of the post requires a 7/8" rotation on the course dial.
Can anyone provide insight into this issue?

Thanks, Rich

Hello Rich: Welcome to the forum. I am only guessing, but is it possible that you are using a larger bit than is called for? That would account for the added cut length As i said, this is only a guess, so it's just something you may want to investigate After sleeping on it, can you find any help on the subject of adjusting. When it involves depth, and if there is no afjistment, You may want to adjust it out by modifying the knob movement. ? Again, in lew of no other post, i am guessing!!
