Default router motor?

Just joined the group. Have a ? If I were to buy a router table KREG, whould you suggest purchasing the Porter Cable motor that is an exact fit for the holder rather than using an existing router similar to the ELU's I have? What are the pros and cons?

The 7518 is a perfect fit and an excellent router motor. Can the Elu motor be removed from the case and, is it round like the PC?

Welcome Ross. I am sure someone will come up with an answer to your question. You will find a great deal of information here on how to use the router in a number of ways. Think outside the square when deciding what method to use
