Default Oval Router Cuts for Keyboard Drawer

In the process of making a wood keyboard drawer, and am hoping to get some ideas on using a router to make oval cuts in the wrist rest for pens, pencils, paper clips, etc.

Welcome to the forum from one Harry to another. I'm having difficulty visualising just what you're after.
