Default Router Recommendation?

Hello to All,
I came across this site in researching various routers. I am looking at the PC890 but concerned about the many posts I have read regarding the decline in PC quality and the durability of their units. I am treating myself to a new and m ore powerful router after have used a Craftsman (in excess of 20 years) and a Black and Decker plunge that is OK for lighter jobs. I am also considering the Bosch or Dewalt routers. Any recommendations on any these routers.

Many Thanks
Rick

Randy, Thank you for the input. The link you sent was very helpful. The units I have been looking at are many of the big dogs in routing, PC, Bosch, DeWalt and Milwaukee. As I research routers I find that most people love their routers and are passionate about a particular brand. The reviews I most typically read are why people don't like a unit they bought.

Your Welcome Rick,

Just go put your hands on a New Router with the fixed and plunge bases and go from there. The router that feels good in your hands will be your favorite.
