Rockler has been pushing them real hard..dumb things..

I Got a set from Mike, shop made set I put some sand paper on them and I'm now using them for sanding blocks..

For painting I use scraps of wood with nails... I'm not yet in the Age of Pyramids

I'm with you Marco, Americans will buy anything that looks tricky

That's when the brad nailer comes in real handy,20 or 30 brad nails in some scrap stock and you have a stand off..(paint stand)

My pyramids consist of "x1" squares of wood with drywall screws through the center. Works for me.

I like 'em, personally. Could I make something like them? Sure. But I don't need to.
