Default Ellipse Jig For Router

Hello to all on the router forum.

I'm looking for recommendations for a quality ellipse jig for use with a router. After reading all the reviews of the Rockler ellipse jig I thought this group might have experience with some better equipment form using the router to make ellipse shaped pieces.

Thanks in advance,

Tony S.

Hi Tony

It's hard to beat the Rockler jig, you can make your own for much less than the list price..
I would recommended the Rocket jig, it has one down fall, but by using the magic donut you can fix that error...,,, error =it can't make two ellipses cuts perfect, like for a oval mirror frame/picture frame ...

You may want to check out the RWS videos, the boys came up with a great way to do ellipses

Look for the Oval Mirror Frame video
