Default I can't believe, another router!

I have told myself a number of times, enough is enough, as far as buying another router. But......then at a yard sale today, I hear this little voice say "i'm over here. I'm so cute. You know, you don't have a D-handle router. I'm only $8. Please take me home" It was an old Rockwell 1502 router, in a 1501 D'handle base. $8, I had to buy it!

It seems like it will be a nice router to use, with it's smaller size and weight.

Anyone have opinions on the router? Positive or negative?
It's a just a 1/4" collet. I'll leave a roundover bit in it most of the time.

They just keep multiplying!

Well for $8 does it really matter if its a great router or not? Use it till it breaks.

My favorite thread on routerforums.com. Great Posts

Hey Bob. Look out. Another collector is in the ranks.

Hey if it works for an hour you got your moneys worth. Ya can't get much for eight bucks any more, especially in the tool category. I think you made a heck of a deal.

That is a terrible router and for $8 you got ripped off.
It will be nothing but misery for you.
You should just send it to me and I will make sure it does not cause you any grief.
