Default Rockwell 514DM Router

I've had this router for years buy rarely use it as it only comes witha 1/4" collet. I'm looking for a 1/2" collet for this machine . Anyone know how I can get a 1/2" or if their is another brand's collet that will fit. My Hitachi router M12V is on the blink and I need a quick replacement. The rockwell is a powerhouse sounds like a plane when it turns on. I'll need a speed control for it any suggestions.

Thankx in advance

Default 1/2 inch collet for Rockwell

If the motor shaft is large enough to accept a 1/2 inch collet, you can probably get one from the manufacturer. If not you're stuck with the 1/4 inch.

Hi redrobin

Many of the OLD routers came with 1/4" only it sounds like it's time to get one of the new routers that come with the 2 collets and a speed control all built in plus lights and many of the extra items..like the lift kit built in..all for about 100.oo bucks.
