Default router bits (again)

hi guys

im wanting to know if its possible to buy dovetail bits longer than 2" because i have a plunge router when i put my guide on, you can only see 2mm of the bit?? any help is much appreciated.

Hi Leon - take a look at the ones for the Leigh jig, they have a bit longer shank. Here's a link:
MLCS dovetail, candlestand router bits
The tables are a tad confusing, for me anyway, but the ones with a star have 1 3/4" long shanks.

Ken - I'm not sure a collet extenter will work with a guide bushing, the nut would likely contact the bushing.
