Default Craftsman 17542 11 amp 2 hp

I have found the Craftsman 17542 11 amp 2 hp online for $79.99. Do any of yall know if it will accept the guide bushing for the Leigh dovetail jig or do you know who I can call and ask?

one of the reviewers on their site complained of a 1-1/4 hole in the baseplate, that's the size of a standard porter cable template guide.

Mr. BobJ should be able to comment on the ability of this router to use template guides, I think he has a bakers dozen of them.

Hi Michael

Yes ,the router will take on the guides, below you will see a picture of one ,it's hard to see the router base plate, it's clear plastic with the right hole for the guides in the base plate...but I would suggest you go one more step and get the combo router setup see below...you will get a nice case to keep them in and the plunge base is a real plus..

I saw that one too. I honestly can not afford it today. I did however go buy the 17542. I took my guide bushing with me and made sure at the store. Thank You and everybody for your help. We will see how much wood I can tear up on the morrow.
