Default electro router

I'm trying to find out some info on my old electro router model 500. It was my dads when he died i got it. I'm trying to find out how old I know at least 20 yrs and what the worth is. also ar there parts available. I would be greatful for any info ,good or bad. thankyou

I'm not familiar with the Electro 500, but that doesn't say a whole lot. In and around the '50s, there were numerous small companies that tried to get in on the home-improvement and DIY market. Few of them survived, which means parts aren't generally available.

Thus, I'd say the "value" is probably mostly sentimental, since it was your dad's router. If it still runs, you might be able to use it, though, depending on the collet size and HP rating of the motor.
