Customer Service from Lowe's went beyond our expectations.
We bought a small refrigerator with an extended warranty..... After the factory warranty was up we needed service on it. There were 2 service trips from an independent and out of town service contractor who always took a couple of days to arrive and did not fix a fairly simple problem.
Longer story made shorter, a local Lowe's employee told us if we would bring in the refrigerator that he would call it a "Lemon" give us a brand new one and reissue the extended warranty and make the purchase date the day returned it.
After all of that we were happy with Lowe's to the point where I emailed a 2 paragraph story about our ordeal and that the employee who stepped up and straightened out the mess we were in deserved a pat on the back. The Lowe's main office Customer Service contacted us back and told us that the employee got a pat on the back and for our trouble that they were issuing us a Lowe's card with the total amount of the refrigerator. tax and the cost of the extended warranty!
True Lowe's has their downfalls but customer service is not one of them.
