Default Freud Routers and router lifts

I have a Freud FT1700 and does anyone know which router lifts available would work with this motor body? The raise/lower mechanizm built into the router has been nothing but trouble and now does not work. I have taken it apart multiple times but the problem is thread wear on the screw and the follower now just ramps out of the threads so it doesn't raise nor lower. So has anyone mounted it in an available router lift? none of the specs I've see on current model lifts seem to address the Freud's 3 11/16 motor diameter. Any news would be helpful.
Thanks for your attention.

Hi Dennis - Welcome to the forum
I'm afraid that's about all I can do for you is offer a welcome though
I've got one of those in my table but haven't had any problems with the lift mechanism,,, yet
Have you tried their customer service? I have heard they are undergoing changes over there but the things came with a pretty decent warranty so I don't think they can opt out of support for it.

John Schaben

The problem with experience is I usually get it immediately after I need it.

Thank you for the welcome. I do hope someone knows of a lift that fits that motor barrel of the Freud though.

HI Dennis - as an alternative, there are some plans floating about for shop made lifts.
