Default craftsman router quits

I read an article on the forum that described my problem exactly. I use mine exactly the same way. Upside down in a router table, where the switch is left on and the router table switch turns the router on. When I switched it to a plunge router it quit. I followed the instructions given on the forum and removed the switch and cleaned it. It still didn't work. So I removed the switch again, and carefully took it apart. I found clumps of sawdust, and the points were burnt. I used and old diamond deb nail file and filed the points flat, installed it and that solved the problem and run again. I ordered another switch right away.
Try it . it works.
