Default Router base plates

My name is Mike. I am new to woodworking and saw this site about routers. I received a Rockler dovetail jig for Christmas and want to build a recipe box with dovetail joints. From what I can tell, I need to purchase a different base plate for my router to accomadate the guide bushing.

I currently have a Ryobi router but can't seem to find a guide bushing base plate specifically for the Ryobi. Does anyone have suggestions as to a universal plate that would fit my router and accomadate the guide bushing?

Hi Mike. Welcome to our little corner of the 'net.

As for your router, Milescraft makes a good one. Or, you can make your own. Check here Making your own sub base to see just one method of making one.
