Default Craftsman Router 315.17460

How do you take off the motor housing? I heard a small rattle in the housing and found that a wire nut had come loose. Because of the shaft lock switch, I was not able to easily remove the housing (and I did not want to force it open as I often do and break anything). I had just used it but now it does not power on so I suspect a loose connection where the wire nut came off. Suggestions? (By the way, finding a manual is a nightmare!)

The housing was removed successfully and the wires were reattached! My wife found a manual of a different Craftsman model and located a small screw on the underside of the plastic handle of the shaft lock switch. It required a small Allen wrench to remove the patented screw and it was tight quarters to get the Allen wrench into the screw head but with patience, it was removed. (She also noted in her search that wire nuts coming loose is a common problem with the Craftsman.)
