Default Need owner's manual

Hi all
I'm a newbie and bought a Craftsman model # 315.17491, 1 1/2 hp router already mounted on a Craftsman table top table with a (I'm guessin) 1/2" radius 1/4" shank
bit included, Craftsman bit-high speed steel.
Anyway, no owner's manual.
Anyone know where I can find a manual for free?
Thanks-Roger

Did you check our Router Reference section?

I googled 315.17491 and it pointed to this forum, so right on Mike.

Default owner's manual

Thanks Mike
I found one for a 315.17492 in the reference section. It's close enough for me!
Thanks again-looking forward to learning about and using this tool!

BTW-I picked up this jewel already mounted to a Craftsman router table # 25444
for $10.00. How'd I do?

No table accessories-would welcome any and all ideas for a fence and anything
else I might need later on.

Again, thanks,

Roger

Roger, browse through the sticky threads at the top of each section of the forums. These threads are loaded with good information; that is the reason they were chosen to remain as the first threads you see. The "step stool" steel router tables are difficult to use but you can work with them. I suggest you buy a set of brass set up bars for adjusting your bit height; these save time, work well and can be found for about $15. For a fence all you need is a straight edged board and a couple C clamps. Many people build taller fences by joining two boards to form an L shape and glueing in some blocks to keep them square. This can be clamped down for easy adjustability but an amazing number of people feel the need to install T tracks which limit your set up possibilities.
