The process is the same on most routers, hand held or table mounted. Remove your factory collet/nut. Install the Musclechuck with the Allen screw facing you finger tight. Snug the Musclechuck with a wrench. This will be less than 1/4 turn of the wrench.
Using a T handle Allen wrench works fine for hand held use but the wrench can interfere with your table top. Using a ball end T handle Allen wrench gives you plenty of clearance. You can easily install your bit and give the Allen wrench 1/2 turn to secure it in place. Locking the shaft in position is not required for most routers.
